私たちは、ロッジ内の自家焙煎施設で、自らコーヒーを焙煎しています。工場でもなく、都市の倉庫でもなく、杉の森と谷川のせせらぎに囲まれた、みなかみの山の中で。
焙煎は少量ずつ、一回一回丁寧に。厳選したシングルオリジンのスペシャルティ豆を、焙煎したての最も美味しい状態でお客様にお届けします。風味を隠すためのブレンドも、棚で何ヶ月も眠った豆もありません。あるのはただ、泊まった場所で焙煎され、作られた場所で飲む、誠実な一杯のコーヒーだけです。

We roast our own coffee here at the lodge, not in a factory, not in a city warehouse, but in the mountains of Minakami, surrounded by cedar forest and the sound of the Tanigawa River.
Every batch is small, every roast is intentional. We source single origin specialty beans from farms we believe in, roast them to order, and serve them to our guests at their absolute peak of freshness. There are no blends designed to hide behind milk. No stale bags sitting on a shelf for months. Just honest coffee, roasted where you sleep, drunk where it was made.
That's something you won't find anywhere else.
THE WATER 水について
美味しいコーヒーの98%は水です。谷川岳の雪解け水を源とするこの軟水は、清らかさとミネラルバランスに優れ、コーヒー本来の風味を引き出します。都会なら求めに来るような水が、ここでは蛇口から出てくるのです。
Great coffee is 98% water. Which means the water you use matters as much as the beans.
We're fortunate. The water that flows through Tanigawa, fed by snowmelt from the peaks of the Tanigawa mountain range, is among the purest you'll find anywhere in the country. Soft, clean, and mineral-balanced in a way that lets the natural flavours of specialty coffee express themselves fully without interference.
THE BEANS 豆について
私たちはシングルオリジンの豆を使用しています。一杯のコーヒーが、一つの場所、一つの農園、一つの収穫の物語を語ります。ラインナップは季節ごとに変わりますが、エスプレッソ用のダークローストに加え、エチオピアやグアテマラなど個性豊かな豆を2種類ほどご用意。チェックインの際には、お好みの器具一式とともにセレクト済みの豆をお渡しします。
We work with single-origin beans, so every cup tells the story of one place, one farm, one harvest. Our lineup changes with the seasons — always a smooth espresso roast, plus two or three rotating origins like Ethiopian Yirgacheffe or Guatemalan Bourbon. Your beans will be ready at check-in, brewed your way, with full details on where they're from.
EXPERIENCE コーヒー体験
ロッジのコーヒーは、部屋に置かれたカプセルマシンではなく、目覚めた瞬間から始まる本格的な体験です。エスプレッソやハンドドリップなど、お好みの一杯を自由に楽しめます。テラスや川岸、窓を開けた客室など、ふさわしい場所でお過ごしください。ここには急ぐ理由がありません。それが、この場所の本質です。
At the lodge, coffee is a full experience, not a capsule machine in the corner. We keep espresso, hand drip, French press, and more on hand, so you can brew it exactly how you like. Then take it somewhere worth drinking: the terrace, the riverbank five minutes away, or your room with the window open. There is no rush here. That's the point.
