Ichinokurasawa (一ノ倉沢)
One of Japan’s most famous alpine landscapes, featuring towering rock walls and dramatic cliffs. A scenic hiking trail leads to the base of the cliffs, offering incredible views of Tanigawa-dake’s rugged terrain. Approx. 20-minute drive followed by a short walk.
Tone River Suwa Gorge Promenade (諏訪峡遊歩道)
A beautiful riverside walking path following the Tone River, featuring scenic bridges, waterfalls, and peaceful nature views. Ideal for casual strolls, cycling, and photography, especially in cherry blossom season and autumn foliage. Easily accessible, just a short drive from the lodge.
