About Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery
Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery is a spacious mountain lodge for groups near Tokyo, located in the beautiful Tanigawa Valley in Minakami, Gunma. Just 90–120 minutes from Tokyo, the lodge offers an easy escape from the city into a landscape of forests, clear rivers, and dramatic mountain scenery.
From April 2026, the lodge will be available exclusively as a whole-lodge rental for groups of up to 32 guests, making it an ideal base for multi-family vacations, friend gatherings, reunions, outdoor adventures, retreats, and corporate offsites. Originally built as a company seminar house, the building naturally works well for group stays, with generous shared spaces where people can cook, dine, meet and relax together.
Inside the lodge you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining and common area, comfortable bedrooms, and a spacious terrace that’s perfect for BBQs and evening gatherings. When guests aren’t staying, we roast coffee onsite, and during your visit you’ll find freshly roasted beans and a full range of brewing equipment so everyone can enjoy great coffee throughout the day.
The surrounding area offers memorable experiences throughout the year. In the green seasons, guests can hike mountain trails, swim in crystal-clear rivers, cycle quiet country roads, watch fireflies from the terrace, or enjoy rafting and canyoning. In winter, the valley transforms into a snowy landscape with nearby ski fields, snowshoeing, sledding, and peaceful snow-covered forest walks. Local onsen hot springs, and our onsite baths, provide the perfect way to unwind after a day outdoors.

Tanigawa Valley Lodge & Coffee Roastery は、群馬県みなかみ町・谷川岳の自然に囲まれた、東京から約90〜120分でアクセスできるグループ向けの山のロッジです。森や清流、雄大な山々に囲まれた環境で、都会の喧騒を離れてゆったりとした時間をお過ごしいただけます。
2026年4月より、ロッジは 最大32名までの一棟貸しとしてご利用いただけます。複数家族での旅行、友人グループの集まり、同窓会、アウトドア旅行、リトリート、企業オフサイトなど、さまざまなグループ滞在に最適です。もともと企業研修施設として建てられた建物のため、広々とした共用スペースがあり、料理や食事、ミーティングや団らんなどをゆったり楽しめます。
館内には設備の整った大型キッチン、広いダイニング兼ラウンジスペース、快適な客室、そしてBBQにもぴったりの広いテラスがあります。館内ではコーヒーを自家焙煎しており、ご滞在中は焙煎したてのコーヒー豆とさまざまな抽出器具でお好みの一杯をお楽しみいただけます。
周辺では四季を通して自然を満喫できます。グリーンシーズンにはハイキング、清流での川遊びや水泳、サイクリング、ホタル観賞、ラフティングやキャニオニングなどが楽しめます。冬には雪景色の中でスキー、スノーシュー、そり遊び、雪の森の散策などが楽しめます。近隣の温泉や館内のお風呂も、アウトドアの後の癒しの時間になります。
